Ron Lagan

Alternative Rock

Ron Lagan is a Filipino alternative rock artist and songwriter whose musical journey is a masterclass in patience and passion. In the early 2000s, Ron found his home behind the guitar, serving as the lead guitarist for an amateur band in the Philippines. Fueled by a deep love for the alternative rock scene, he began composing original music, penning the lyrics and melodies to his debut single all the way back in 2006. However, life demanded a detour. To secure his future, Ron made the difficult choice to put his musical ambitions on hold, shifting his focus to the rigorous world of finance. Today, he has achieved his goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). With his professional foundations set, Ron is finally bringing his long-held musical dreams to life. Armed with a renewed perspective and decades of inspiration, he is dusting off his catalog of original compositions. His debut Tagalog alternative rock single—originally written 20 years ago—bridges the gap between classic Pinoy rock nostalgia and a fresh modern sound, proving it is never too late to reclaim your creative spark.
