Formed in Manila in 1993, SACRILEGION is a veteran Filipino extreme metal band whose sound fuses thrash, death metal, grindcore, crossover, and progressive influences. Emerging from the Philippine underground scene, the band became active on the 1990s metal circuit, performing at notable venues including Club Dredd, Klab Nyo, Yosh Café, and Bottom Line. With six established original songs from their early years, SACRILEGION has endured for more than three decades and is now entering a new chapter. The band is working toward its 10-track debut full-length album, combining re-recorded early material with new compositions, with recording planned in Manila.
