Stay weird, be yourself
My journey as a music artist officially began in 2016, with hip-hop standing as my first love and core musical identity. Growing up immersed in the culture, my personal "Mount Rushmore" of rap consists of legends like Eminem, Gloc-9, Loonie, and Smugglaz, though my deep admiration extends to countless other hip-hop icons who shaped my lyrical style. What started as casual freestyle sessions in front of friends and makeshift recordings on a mobile phone eventually pushed me to test my skills on a bigger stage. Winning a major rap contest served as the turning point, giving me the validation and confidence to treat what was once a simple passion as a serious, lifelong dream. That victory fueled my drive to level up. I began seeking out proper recording studios, performing at various venues and local events, and transforming raw verses into polished tracks. Looking back, it is truly fulfilling to see how far that phone-recording bedroom rapper has come, now being able to release official music to a wider audience. As time went on, my musical palette naturally evolved alongside my artistic growth. While rap remains my foundation, I began experimenting with other genres and performance styles, drawing heavy inspiration from icons like Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, and Bruno Mars. Today, I continue to explore these new sonic directions, blending my hip-hop roots with broader musical influences as I continually redefine my sound and push my creative boundaries.
