Independent Filipino/Cebuano hip-hop artist from Cebu — representing the Queen City of the South through original music. 🔥
Eeytwojeèy is an independent Filipino/Cebuano hip-hop artist and musician from Cebu, Philippines. His connection with rap began in 1992, when he started performing in Grade 4 at Canduman National High School in Mandaue City. Growing up around challenges and experiences that shaped him, hip-hop became a way to express himself, connect with others, and encourage people around him to move in a positive direction. The foundation for Eeytwojeèy’s music was built through years of writing, performing, and experimenting with his own sound. The concept for “DIZ IZ ME” was first written in 1998, while the beat was later arranged in 2009 and the track recorded and mixed in 2011. His music carries the influence of Filipino hip-hop, personal experiences, Cebuano culture, and the independent spirit of creating music on his own terms. After years of being active in music and online releases, Eeytwojeèy stepped away from music while pursuing a corporate career and focusing on life outside the studio. Much of his old online music was eventually removed, and some original production files were later lost or corrupted. Even so, the ideas and unfinished work remained with him. In 2026, Eeytwojeèy returned to music with a renewed purpose: to finish what he started and reconnect with the Filipino hip-hop community. He launched a new series of releases beginning with “DIZ IZ ME,” followed by “CHUY CHUY,” “YO!,” “BABY,” and “HAYYAHAYY.” The new chapter represents more than simply releasing old ideas—it is about rebuilding, creating independently, and sharing the sound and perspective of a Cebuano artist with listeners beyond Cebu. Today, Eeytwojeèy continues developing his music under St.Don st Records while connecting with fellow artists, music communities, promoters, and independent platforms in the Philippines and beyond. His creative inspiration comes from the journey itself: where he came from, the years he spent away from music, the lessons learned along the way, and the belief that a creative dream can still be pursued—even after a long pause.
