Voys of Pearl

OPM Alternative Pop-Rock

group of teenage musicians hailing from Plaridel, Misamis Occidental—primarily performs in the OPM Alternative Pop-Rock and acoustic ballad space. Formed in November 2025, they quickly made their mark when they released their first original song, "Ako Lang Pala," in February 2026, followed by "Natagpuan" in July 2026. Their tracks center heavily on heartbreak, emotional vulnerability, and romantic longing, blending melodic acoustic and electric guitars with heartfelt vocal delivery to create a relatable and deeply sentimental vibe for fans of contemporary Pinoy rock. Their musical approach draws heavy inspiration from the golden era of 2000s OPM bands and acoustic-driven alternative acts that dominated Philippine radio. This influence is evident in their song structures, which often feature gentle guitar intros that gradually build up in emotional intensity and instrumentation as they reach the chorus, a classic technique designed to maximize the dramatic and emotional impact of the lyrics.
